You don’t have to abandon critical thinking to explore spirituality.
I’m Lindsi, the owner of Indigo Rain Shop. For the past 9 years I have dedicated my life to studying and teaching Western esotericism through the lens of Tarot, Lenormand, Ceremonial Magick, Folk Magick, philosophy, and psychology.
With my bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology, I bring a scientific lens to the world of spirituality. Science has taught me how to ask better questions, evaluate evidence, and how to remain comfortable with uncertainty. All of which are skills that have shaped the way I approach my practice and what I offer.
I don't believe a good reader is quantified by the individual claiming that they are ‘all knowing’ or ‘100% accurate”. Sure, that sounds great, but it isn’t realistic. I think a good reader is someone who knows the difference between what they're genuinely seeing and what they're merely assuming. My job is to always be honest with you. Even if that means saying, "I don't know."
I don't believe every question has a single, unquestionable answer, and I don't think Tarot should be treated that way either. The cards are meant to leave room for interpretation and discussion. To me, exploring spirituality, Tarot, or whatever else you feel called to explore should be a conversation between you, me, and whatever higher power is out there.
I believe that staying open to discussion and approaching this work with humility and reverence has helped me earn something far more valuable than certainty: continued trust from my clients.
My approach to magick invites you to question things and explore your own opinions. I believe that the strongest spiritual practice isn't built on having all the answers, it’s built on being willing to keep asking questions.
